Welcome to the Anglican/Episcopal Church of Christ the King!

The Church of Christ the King (CtK) is a predominantly English-speaking Episcopal church in Frankfurt, Germany. CtK is an international congregation of Christians from all over the world,  from many different denominations, and all walks of life.

CtK belongs to the Convocation of Episcopal Churches in Europe and as such is a part of The Episcopal Church (TEC) in the United States. TEC enjoys a relationship of full communion, including exchange of pastors, with the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA), the Church of England, the Church of Sweden, the Old Catholic Churches of the Union of Utrecht, and the Philippine Independent Church.

The worship style of CtK is both traditional and relaxed, enriched with music from the congregation and the choir. Read more about our services in the
Worship section.

Are you new to the Church of Christ the King? We love visitors and we love welcoming new members to our congregation. At CtK, all are welcome. CtK is  an LGBTQ-affirming and inclusive community. If you have questions, please do not hesitate to contact us in the office or to email Fr. Steve directly at This email address is being protected from spambots. Corona Virus Safety and Hygiene Plan:

We are committed to keep everyone who attends a CtK service or activity as safe as possible. Our safety and hygiene plan is based on recommendations and mandates from local and national government, the Bishop of the Convocation of Episcopal Churches in Europe, and  information from the Robert Koch Institute.  The plan is posted at the entrance of the main church building, in the Parish House, and in our Parish Weekly Newsletter.

During this unsettled time of the global  pandemic, not all of Christ the King Church services, programs, or activities are happening as shown on our Website.  For the most up-to-date information on something you may be interested in, please call or email the parish office or subscribe to our Parish Weekly Newsletter and Sunday Email (with all activities and ZOOM links for the week.)

For the time being, our Sunday 11:00 Eucharistic service and our Thursday 19:00 Compline service are held on ZOOM and livestreamed on our Public Facebook page. In-person attendance is possible for those without access to internet technology and spontaneous visitors.
