24 Nov Junior and Senior Youth Events and Retreats
Registration is open for YAE 2023 in Paris!
We invite all Convocation youth ages 14-18 years to gather in Paris on Friday 24 March and end with worship at the Cathedral on Sunday 26 March. Here is the tentative schedule for the weekend:
Friday 24 March:
- Arrival starting at 2pm
- Meet host family at the Cathedral for dinner
- Stay with host family in Paris
Saturday 25 March:
- Breakfast with host family
- Visit Paris with host family in the morning
- Meet at Cathedral for lunch
- Afternoon full of fun, Bible study, time with Presiding Bishop Curry
- Dinner out in Paris
- Evening Prayer/Activities
- Stay the night in the Cathedral!
Sunday 26 March:
- Breakfast at the Cathedral
- Worship to celebrate the Next 100 Years at the Cathedral
- Lunch (packed lunch for folks who need to head out early)
- See you next year!
Cost for each youth participant is €20 (no cost for chaperones). Arrival can either be on Friday evening or Saturday afternoon when the bulk of the event will begin. Youth can either arrive with the chaperones from your congregation or they can be dropped off by their parents. Since we will spend one night at the Cathedral, you will need to bring a sleeping bag and pillow.
